Appeals must be submitted via email to appeals@curtin.edu.sg. All appeals must be accompanied by appropriate documentation. Failure to provide documentation may result in the appeal being rejected. Assessment reviews and appeals
Informal review of assessment
A student who believes that the mark awarded for an assessment is incorrect, may request an informal review of their mark. Students must be aware that in requesting an informal review, their results can be changed either upward or downward. Students may request an informal review of an assessment by sending an email to assessments@curtin.edu.sg. Requests for informal reviews of assessments will be received within 7 working days of the publication of marks for the assessment. A written outcome of the informal review will be provided to the student via their Curtin student email within 7 working days of receipt of the request.
Formal review of assessment
If, after going through the informal review, the student is still dissatisfied with the outcome, the student may lodge a formal review by completing an Application for Formal Review of Results form at this link and submitting it to assessments@curtin.edu.sg.

The application must include an explanation as to why the student wishes the assessment to be formally reviewed and evidence of engaging in an informal review process. The formal review will be determined within 10 working days of it being received by the Program Manager. Once a decision has been made on the formal review, the student will be advised in writing of the outcome and reason(s) for the outcome immediately and in any case, no later than 3 working days from the date of the decision.
